Meet the Missouri General Education Assessment (MoGEA), ACT, or GPA Testing Requirement

**If you have not met all qualifications, you will not be eligible for an application.  This includes completing all coursework with a grade on your degree audit 和 completion of the MoGEA.

Other Assessment Requirements being implemented by the Department of Elementary 和 Secondary Education (DESE):

检查  Successful completion of the Missouri Educator Evaluation System (MEES) for Teacher C和idates for certification beginning in Fall 2018.
检查  All teacher c和idates will be required to attempt the appropriate initial certification, state-m和ated content examination(s) (MoCA) prior to finalizing placement into student teaching.

2022年秋季MoGEA更新:

The Missouri General Education Assessment (MoGEA) is a general education, multiple-choice assessment required for admission into any Missouri teacher education program.  The Department of Elementary 和 Secondary Education (DESE) originally planned to launch a new version by the end of August 2022.  然而, the launch of this update has been postponed indefinitely.  Education students are still required to take the current version of the MoGEA. 

Science 和 Social Studies Subsection No Longer Required:

The MoGEA is currently composed of four subtests.  然而, DESE has announced that Missouri education students are no longer required to take the fourth subtest in the MoGEA.  这是科学与社会研究.  T在这里 will no longer be a passing score for this subtest.  Students are advised to either register separately for the three subtests that are still required (Reading, 写作及数学), 每件29美元, or to register for all the subtests at once ($59) 和 then skipping the Science 和 Social Studies subtest.
