The Missouri General Education Assessment (MoGEA) is a general education, multiple-choice assessment required for admission into any Missouri teacher education program. The Department of Elementary 和 Secondary Education (DESE) originally planned to launch a new version by the end of August 2022. 然而, the launch of this update has been postponed indefinitely. Education students are still required to take the current version of the MoGEA.
Science 和 Social Studies Subsection No Longer Required:
The MoGEA is currently composed of four subtests. 然而, DESE has announced that Missouri education students are no longer required to take the fourth subtest in the MoGEA. 这是科学与社会研究. Students are advised to either register separately for the three subtests that are still required (Reading, 写作及数学), 每件29美元, or to register for all the subtests at once ($59) 和 then skipping the Science 和 Social Studies subtest.
